AUTHOR & BLOGGER

I am Donae! A wife and mom of three kids, ALL boys! I would love to share with you my experience with living purposefully. Let my life Inspire, Encourage and Motivate you on your journey of living a purposeful life.

We like to say the term, “I’m broken hearted” espe We like to say the term, “I’m broken hearted” especially when we’ve survived something tragic, hurtful or painful. But did you know that it’s not only figuratively and that your heart does take on a spiritual nature as well? Our heart is actually the conduit for our emotions. Whatever we expose ourselves to can and does affect our heart. This is why it is so important to protect this part of who you are and to be very guarded on what you do allow whether for good or bad.I wrote a blog post on this topic called:BEING INTENTIONAL ABOUT GUARDING YOUR HEARTThis is a crucial step in living a more lighter, freer and balanced life.Click on the blog link in my bio. 👆🏾#guardyourheart #selfcare #hearthealth #healing #selfcaretips
Life is a journey of ups and downs, winding roads Life is a journey of ups and downs, winding roads and sometimes turbulent storms. Some of it we can’t prevent but for others it’s up to our choosing what we allow to stay connected to us.We are aware of certain decisions that we do have to make. However, for some reason we may be in denial about them. That job or relationship you know isn’t serving you anymore but you still choose to be there. If at some point you also realize that you’re still stuck on your journey ahead, it might be an indication that you have to unload somethings that just can’t go with you anymore. What is that for you?Read my next blog post:LEARNING TO LET GO OF WHAT DOESN’T SERVE YOUSometimes the best thing that you can do for yourself is to remove the things that no longer serve you, so that you can run unhindered in the life that’s designed for you.Click on the blog link in my bio. 👆🏾#lettinggo #letgo #lovingwhoyouare #selfcare #movingforward
Faith without flexing your muscles is not active f Faith without flexing your muscles is not active faith at all. Faith requires walking it out each day in full surrender. What that looks like is stepping forward in every season of life no matter the obstacles, challenges and setbacks that comes. On the opposite side of faith is fear. If you choose to not walk in faith daily, then fear will get the upper hand.Trust the process, timing and seasons of your life in full surrender.Read my next blog post:WALKING BY FAITH EACH DAYLearn how to do so with more confidence and boldness than ever before.Click on the blog link in my bio. 👆🏾#faith #walkingbyfaith #faithdriven #faithoverfear #faithwins
I’m living my best life without compromise. I get I’m living my best life without compromise. I get to put my best foot forward in every journey of life.I had a choice to make. I could chase after what doesn’t really matter or shift my focus to the ones who do need my undivided attention. That’s where I get my joy and peace. I get to live a simple and yet uncomplicated life because I’m choosing to do so unapologetically. Are you choosing the simpler path of life? Or did you pick the busyness and the chaos?Read my next blog post:FINDING JOY AND PEACE IN SIMPLICITYI’m hoping that this blog post will shed a light on your life and that it will also help you to navigate well life’s choices.Click on the blog link in my bio. 👆🏾#joy #peace #simplicityoflife #simpleisbetter #enjoyinglife
Are you living your best life? Be honest with me f Are you living your best life? Be honest with me for a moment. Are you where you want to be? Are you actively pursuing your goals and dreams, even in the busyness of life?If the answer to these questions is no, that tells me you’re settling for a mediocre life.Have you allowed fear, procrastination, lack of time management, indecisiveness, and lack of follow-through to keep you stuck in a less-than-fulfilling life?Well, if you’re aware of all five areas of struggle, it’s time to rediscover your purpose and shift from just dreaming about your ideal life to actually living it. Would you like that? Then read my next blog post: LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE.Don’t let these 5 areas rob you of living your best life.Click on the blog link in my bio. 👆🏾#bestlife #bestlifenow #apeacefullife #dreams #goals
Peace won’t find you, if you don’t make it a prior Peace won’t find you, if you don’t make it a priority. What you invest in will be your portion. As women we tend to put our peace on the back burner all the time.No wonder why most of us are running thin each day trying to keep up. We hide behind the mask each time with a long list of things to do that can rob our peace and our very existence if we don’t take care.Sometimes we wear “busyness” as if it’s a trophy and the more “busy” we are the more accomplished we feel. But I know that behind closed doors, many of us are at the brink of a major “burnout”.I see you and I completely understand. I wrote a blog post to specifically address the need for women to: FINDING PEACE IN CHAOS. Learn how to find and maintain peace in a chaotic life.Click on the blog link in my bio. 👆🏾#peace #findingpeace #self-care #innerpeace #apeacefullife
Loving yourself first does not come easy to a lot Loving yourself first does not come easy to a lot of us as women. We have been taught for so long to love others more times than the thought of loving ourselves first and foremost. If you look at it this way first, then you will see that the way to truly having freedom in oneself is going to come from a place of self-love.How are you expected to give to others especially if your soul is depleted? You would rather be giving the worse version of yourself. I know that I don’t want to give my worst self to my family or friends. So for me, the best balance that I can find, is to make sure I’m pouring more into myself. When I do that, the ones I love around me will also reap the benefits.Have you neglected yourself? Then read this blog post on : LEARNING TO LOVE WHO YOU ARE. You will learn truth about this simple exercise that will hopefully open your eyes to even more truth.Click on the blog link in my bio. 👆🏾#selflove #lovingoneself #self-care #lovingme #lovingwhoiam
I’m in a new space and phase of life in my 40s. I I’m in a new space and phase of life in my 40s. I am so blessed to have another little one join in on our adventures. Can I just say he fits our family vibes perfectly? It’s as if he was born for this.I am incredibly grateful for new life and new experiences once again after 8 years. But this experience didn’t come without a wait. With every passing moment, it can be easy to get discouraged if things don’t happen quickly or in our favor. However, I have learned one major thing on this journey compared to the one I first started out on: life has a way of shifting your focus toward practicing gratitude, rather than wanting someone else’s life. So, I wanted to write about a simple yet powerful topic: LIVING A LIFE OF GRATITUDE, no matter what season of life you find yourself in.Click on the blog link in my bio! 👆🏾#gratitude #livingalifeofgratitude #agratefullife #thankful #familylife
It’s been a moment since my last blog post. Time h It’s been a moment since my last blog post. Time has definitely brought a new season of motherhood for me after 8 years. So the theme was so fitting for him.I wrote a NEW BLOG POST, “POOL PARTY-THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY”, sharing with you tips on how to plan a special first birthday that’s fun and budget friendly.Click on the blog link in the bio. 👆🏾
