But did you know that it’s not only figuratively and that your heart does take on a spiritual nature as well?Our heart is actually the conduit for our emotions. Life is a journey of ups and downs, winding roads Life is a journey of ups and downs, winding roads and sometimes turbulent storms. Some of it we can’t prevent but for others it’s up to our choosing what we allow to stay connected to us.We are aware of certain decisions that we do have to make. Faith requires walking it out each day in full surrender.What that looks like is stepping forward in every season of life no matter the obstacles, challenges and setbacks that comes.On the opposite side of faith is fear. Loving yourself first does not come easy to a lot Loving yourself first does not come easy to a lot of us as women. We have been taught for so long to love others more times than the thought of loving ourselves first and foremost. If you look at it this way first, then you will see that the way to truly having freedom in oneself is going to come from a place of self-love.How are you expected to give to others especially if your soul is depleted? You would rather be giving the worse version of yourself. I know that I don’t want to give my worst self to my family or friends.So for me, the best balance that I can find, is to make sure I’m pouring more into myself. I’m in a new space and phase of life in my 40s. I I’m in a new space and phase of life in my 40s. I am so blessed to have another little one join in on our adventures. Can I just say he fits our family vibes perfectly? It’s as if he was born for this.I am incredibly grateful for new life and new experiences once again after 8 years. But this experience didn’t come without a wait.
